Hello friends,

It has been a very busy 2 months for our family and our ministry. In September we ministered in 7 different states and finished the month in Indiana at Angola Christian Church and the Woodburn Christian Children.s Home. God was so amazing in those services. The morning started at Angola Christian Church and God touched the lives of many including me in that services. It is amazing to watch the Holy Spirit work. Just a few songs from the end of the service God got a hold of me and tears began to flow. I shared about the importance of family and how the family unit is under attack in the day we live. We must stand firm on the word of God and take a stand for marriage being between one man and one woman and no other way. During the invitation, many came forward to spend time with the Lord at the altar.

Later that afternoon, we performed at the Woodburn Christian Children.s Home Annual Meeting. During this meeting over $30M dollars was raised for the children's home to meeting their operating expenses. What a blessing this was for the home. It has been a difficult year financially and they had to borrower money to meet expenses. The gifts will allow them to pay the debt off and have funds for operations. In the month of September, they added 11 new children to the family and they are now at full capacity. They can use your support as they are completely independently funded. This allows them to teach all the children that come to their home about God without the government interfering. If you would like to learn more about how you can support this ministry please contact my ministry office at 863-858-1604.

On November 18, 2008, we are performing for a benefit concert in Lakeland, Florida for Lighthouse Ministries at the Polk Theater. This is going to be an awesome event. An offering will be received at the event to support Lighthouse Ministries. I truly believe in this ministry as they minister to people who are going through hardships in their lives. They provide shelter, food, Christ centered education, childcare, and many other services through this great ministry. So come and be apart of this great evening.

Well, its time to close. Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. We look forward to seeing you soon in a service near you. Please visit our website at www.onereason.net and view our schedule to see when we are near you. May God Bless You!!!

Another Great Homecoming!!

Hello everyone,

I pray you are all doing well. Our 3rd Annual Brian Bracey & One Reason Homecoming was a blessing to many. The weather was rough that evening with Tornado Watches and Warnings, but the Lord blessed the hearts of those who attended and those who shared their ministry. I had many come to me days later saying what a blessing the night was for them and shared the many moments God really spoke to them. That is what our homecoming is about, ministering to people. We were blessed to have gotten the evening in, as within an hour of the last word spoken, the power went out!! God Is Great!!! Watch out for next year's homecoming to see who all will be there!

I am now another year older and I know you won't believe it but, Lordy, Lordy I'm Forty. My wife and kids surprised me with a 40th Birthday Party. They really surprised me. I had no idea what they were doing. It was great because my wife was able to contact friends that we have not seen in years and they came to the party. We had nearly 40 people in our home! It was a really good time. I want to thank my wife, 2 boys and baby girl for all their hard work to put this together and everyone else that played a part in keeping this a secret. All I can say is good job!

It's hard to believe, but it is getting close to this year's Gospel Post Convention and Fan Awards. We truly love this event and thank you fans for awarding me with three fan awards over the years. I again appreciate your votes for Soloist of the year and also thank you for your votes for my son, Easton, for sound technician of the year. Please make sure you get your gospel post and place your votes for this year's convention.

In addition to the gospel post awards, it is time for folks to place their nominations for the 2008 Diamond Awards, which will be awarded again this year during the National Quartet Convention. You can make your nominations for all of your favorite artist in Southern Gospel Music by going to www.diamondawardsonline.com. Make only one nomination per category listed. The categories I can be nominated for are Soloist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Instrumentalist of the Year, Artist Website, and Sunrise Award. You must cast your nominations by March 29, 2008. I thank you for your nominations. I pray that God will use the nominations to open additional ministry opportunities for our family. We give God all the Glory and pray that he hides us behind the cross so only he will be seen.

I almost forgot to tell you about our annual ski trip we took back in January. We had a really great time with friends and family from many different states. We had 30 that went on the trip this year to Beech Mountain, North Carolina. We had great weather and great skiing conditions. And best of all no injuries!!! You can see pictures from the trip on our gallery page of the website. Go to www.onereason.net . This is a great page if you like to see me and the family serving the Lord and on vacation or just having a good time.

Well, I guess its time to go for now. We look forward to seeing you real soon in a service near you. Please contact us for ministry opportunities by calling 863-602-3663. May God bless you and your family.

Hello Everybody,

It has been a busy month.  We started out with an awesome opportunity to ministry and be apart of a day of financial benefit to the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home in Woodburn, In.  The kids and house parents are all so special to us.  They bless us probably more than we could begin to bless them.  They truly show us what sacrifice  all about.  On that Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, the Benefit Auction and Concert raised approximately $25,000.00.  What a blessing.  You see, this children’s home is completely privately funded.  This means they accept no government money which allows them to raise the children under God’s principals and not government rules and regulations.  That is special for the kids.  I look forward to this benefit every year.  After serving in northern Indiana and Michigan on Sunday we drove 22 hours straight home.  However, the last hour of the drive we found out that my wife’s grandmother passed away in North Carolina.  After being home a day, the funeral arrangements were made and all of my family including our new little girl and my mom and dad loaded up and left for North Carolina where we would take part in Nancy Pratt’s Home Going Celebration.  We left on Friday to head to Indiana again where we shared the love of Christ in three different cities.  During this weekend, many prayed during the alter call and one precious soul come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Praise God!!  Monday – Saturday of the next week we were in Louisville, Ky at the National Quartet Convention where I was able to share our ministry in four different venues.  I also attended and performed at the Diamond Awards where I was nominated for Sunrise Artist of the Year.  I did not win the award, but I consider it as being blessed just being apart of the top 5.  If it is God’s will, we may be winners one day.  But for now, I must say we have been given great exposure for our ministry and given a chance to share what God has called me and my family to do.  We left the convention on Saturday afternoon and made our way to south Georgia where we shared Christ before heading home.  My family and I thank God for his protection on us as we traveled and for keeping us all health.  Especially, little Brila as she traveled on her first 14 day ministry trip.

Well, we still have a lot of ministry opportunities that remain in the final months of 2007.  We ask that you continue to pray for us throughout the rest of 2007 as God keeps us  busy doing his work.

I want to remind everyone that our new CD titled “This Is Love” is now available.  You can contact our ministry office at 863-858-1604 or send me an email at brian@onereason.net to order your CD or come see us in concert near you.  It is not available yet on our website, but it will be in the near future.  We are now try to finish our schedule for the isolated dates we have available for 2007 and also scheduling for 2008.  If you would like to schedule our ministry please contact my ministry office or email me as mentioned above.  To check on available dates please visit our website at www.onereason.net

My family and I thank you very much for your prayer and financial support.  Without you we could not minister to this world as God has called us to do.  If you feel God is calling you to financially support our ministry in a greater way please contact us.  We could not survive without you.

May God richly bless you and your family!!!

She Is Here!!
Brian Bracey & One Reason
Aug 13, 2007

On Thursday, August 9, 2007, at 8:15pm, God blessed our family with Brila Renee Bracey. She is a beautiful girl!! She was 20 inches long and weighed 7 pounds and 14.5 ounces. Pam was scheduled to be induced on the 9th as she was having some minor difficulties toward the end of the pregnancy. I was having a few of my own trying to get ready for the big day. My truck had been in the shop for about a week getting some warranty work done and the shop provided me a loaner car. On Wednesday at 4:30 I was to take back the loaner and get my truck back. I was going to stop for gas and replenish the tank in the car before I returned it. When I arrive, I turned off the car and then turned the key to the on position so I could see how much gas was in the car. As I was pumping gas I decided to shut the door. BAD MISTAKE!! I found out that shutting the door on a Ford Fusion when the key is on automatically locks all doors. Therefore, I had to call the shop and have someone come unlock the door with the other key. Finally, I was able to get back into the car and make my way to the shop. When I arrived, my truck was ready to go. I then began to empty my things from the car back to my truck. I reach into the center console to get my wallet and guess what!! It was not there. I searched the car franticly and then decide that I must have left it at home that morning. Before I left I called home to have them check for my wallet and it was not there. I then went back to the car and check it again everywhere including the glove box and center console. NO LUCK! I went home upset that I could not find my wallet and I had to freeze my credit cards and I worried about my identity all night. The next morning we got up to go to the hospital and I called the shop and asked them to search the car one more time. They did so and Praise the Lord, they found my wallet. I asked, where did you find it? The lady kindly said in the center console. I did not understand as I looked three times in the console the day before. I then learned something else about the Ford Fusion. And that is they have two levels to the center console. I was only looking in one level. I had no idea it had two levels and when I put my wallet in there earlier in the day I put it in the second level. I thought I would humor everyone by sharing my story. If you have a Ford Fusion maybe this will help you out. Ha Ha!!

We were released from the hospital Saturday evening close to 9:00pm. It really seemed funny leaving the hospital that late, but that is how they do it. We were looking forward to getting home as Pam, the boys and I had been working hard to keep the house in pretty good shape for the day we could bring Brila home. Pam really planned ahead to make sure she shopped and filled our freezer with food and began meal preparations so we would not have to work so hard for a couple of weeks to get meals ready for the family. Upon our arrival at home close to 9:30pm, I opened the garage door so I could go turn on the lights. I did not like what I saw. WATER!! I followed the trail and it lead to the recently stocked freezer. You have probably guessed it. Everything was spoiled as the freezer defrosted. What a mess!! My Brother In Law and I cleaned that up as everyone else went in the house to get Brila settled. We went from having enough food to last us a couple of weeks to nothing. Our plans were being changed!! As my Brother in Law and I were working, I told him I was glad I was saved. Before I was saved I would have probably done many things I would have regretted out of frustration. However, being saved helped me to handle the situation in a different manner. Don’t get me wrong, I was upset. We lost a lot of money from it and it was an inconvience. God had a plan out of this situation. By the next night, God provide other Christian Brothers and Sisters to contact us about providing meals for our family during this time. God is Great!!! Everything happens for a reason. God was using this to bring out spiritual gifts and talents of fellow Brother and Sisters in Christ.

We have a very busy schedule coming up in September leading our ministry to several states in this great country. Pray for us as we travel and for souls to come to know the Lord Jesus. One of our greatest opportunities of ministry is a benefit concert in Woodburn, Indiana at the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home. This is our second year doing this benefit and I will tell you this is an awesome opportunity to ministry to kids that have had significant struggles in their life. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to serve God and share his love with these wonderful kids.

We should go for now as this article has taken a while for you to read. We love you and thank you for your support. Please go to our website, www.onereason.net, to see when we will be near you in concert. We look forward to seeing you soon. If you or your church would like to schedule our ministry please contact Brian Bracey at 863-602-3663.

Have A Blessed Month,

If you missed the Gospel Post Convention and Fan Awards in Bell, Florida, you missed a great night of Gospel Music and fellowship. The spirit in the auditorium was awesome. I want to thank all of you for selecting me as the Soloist of the Year. God has truly blessed our ministry and we are excited about what God has in store for us in the future. We would like to thank all the staff of the Gospel Post for another great year and convention. Also, we want to thank all the people and ministries that helped with the convention in every area.

Our ministry has been blessed with a top 5 nomination for Sunrise Artist of the Year for the Diamond Awards to be given out the Friday afternoon of the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. You may vote for our ministry for this award and for all your favorite artist by going online to www.diamondawardsonline.com. The voting ends July 28, 2007. You may vote online or print a ballot from this site to mail in. If you have family and friends that would like to vote, they can also go online to vote or give them a copy of the ballot to mail in. Please only one vote per person. If they get more than one vote per person all votes for that person will be eliminated. It is awesome to be recognized for these awards, however it is not about bringing honor and glory to ourselves. These nomination may and do allow our ministry to expand to places we may have never gotten without them. That is why they are important to our ministry. It’s about expansion, to see more souls come to know the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Well, Pam and I and the boys will have a new addition to our family to report soon. We ask you to please pray for Pam and little Brila for all to go well with the delivery and everyone to be healthy. We are so excited and Pam is more than ready!!!

Our new CD, Brian Bracey & One Reason, “This Is Love”, will be available soon. The final touches are being completed. Well, everything is moving quickly around our house right now preparing for the new life God is blessing our family with. We are preparing a nursery room, moving Layton’s room, and changing the living room and dining room into a play room. So, our home is looking a lot different. This is all good and exciting. As mentioned in a previous newsletter, we are having a little girl. We are going to name her Brila Renee. Now that’s cute!!

The family and I are getting ready to head to Charlotte, NC on May 22nd. I am going to the recording studio there to complete the vocals on my new CD. Be praying that God will keep us healthy during this time and that he will bless this project so the gospel will be presented in such a clear and powerful way through the songs he has
given me. From there we are headed to Virginia and North Carolina to share the gospel in song. We will then get back for a few days before leaving to share in Mississippi. Wow, that’s a lot of road miles in a short period of time!!

We are going to begin a capital fundraising program for our ministry very shortly which will be called One Reason Mission Partners. We have prayed about what God would have us to do about the ever increasing expense of our mobile ministry, and this is what has come out of much prayer. This will allow anyone and everyone who would like to be more involved with our ministry to continue financial support on an ongoing basis. Please pray about this and see if God would have you and your family become a One Reason Mission Partner. More information about this opportunity will be provided in the days to come.

VOTE!! VOTE!!

Last reminder!! The last day to place your vote for Brian Bracey & One Reason for the 2007 Diamond Awards is May 19, 2007. After this time, the ballot will be reduced to the top 5 finalists. If we reach the top 5 we will inform you by newsletter to then vote again. The categories we are nominated for are Sunrise Artist of the Year, the Anthony Burger Instrumentalist of the Year, and Artist Website of the Year. You may place your vote at www.diamondawardsonline.com. You can either vote online or print a ballot and mail it in. If you have friends and
family that can not vote online print them a ballot and they can mail it in. Thanks so much for your consideration for these awards.

Well, I need to go for now. Thank you all for your prayers and support. You all are a blessing to our ministry. May God richly bless you and your family!!

Brian Bracey & One Reason

Hello From Brian Bracey & One Reason

We want to thank all of our sponsors that supported our Second Annual Homecoming on March 9th. Without them this event could not be possible. It was an awesome night of worship. Karen Peck & New River, Randy Miller and Sounds of Victory were all a blessing to the people who attend this event. The best part of the night was the decisions made by people who attended to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. That is what it’s all about!!! If you missed the Homecoming, please look out for details about next year as you will want to make your plans to attend.

Everyone has been asking and yes I have started my new CD project. I pray that we will have the project available for the Gospel Post Convention and Fan Awards. I am very excited about the CD and the songs that God has given me to sing. I covet your prayers as I complete the project and ask you pray for traveling grace as we travel to the studio in North Carolina.

Our ministry just returned from the Southern Gospel Music Fanfair in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a week long event with music every day and night along with worship services every morning. I sang main stage at the convention center on Monday and Friday night. What an opportunity the Lord provided for me. I was also a top 5 finalist for male vocalist of the year along with Brian Free from Brian Free & Assurance, John Lanier, David Livingston, and Guy Pennrod from the Gather Vocal Band. It was so awesome to be amongst men of this vocal ability. Brian Free took home the award that night, but there are years to come. Our ministry is not about winning awards or nominations, but if more doors open for us to share the gospel due to the nominations and awards then Praise the Lord. I want to thank all of you who voted for your nominations and votes. It was very encouraging.

Also, we have an exciting opportunity at the end of April as we will be sharing our ministry at the Singing in the Sun in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is a new opportunity for our ministry and we pray that new opportunities will surface for us to share the Gospel because of this event.

Bye the way, Pam and I went to her Doctor on April 9th and guess what??? We are expecting a little GIRL!!! Please pray for Pam and the little one throughout the pregnancy.

Before I end, I would like to challenge everyone to pray and spend quite time with God. Allow God to show you your talents and spiritual gifts. Then ask him to provide you the opportunities to witness to this lost and dying world. May God bless you and again we thank you for your love and support.

Awaiting His Return,

Brian Bracey & One Reason.

Thanks for your work,
Brian Bracey
